What type of signs do you make?

We can provide most any type of sign that you need. Every sign we make is custom, so there isn’t a limit to the types of sign that can be fabricated or made to fit your particular need or situation. We frequently work with specialty fabricators who have additional capabilities so your projects aren’t limited by our own internal capabilities.

What do your signs cost?

Our work is custom designed and built to each client’s specific needs. The price of your sign will depend entirely on the complexity of the design, the fabrication and the materials. A large part of our job is to educate our clients about their options.  We’ll work with you to help you meet your objectives while choosing an option that stays within your budget.

Do you visit my location or site? How do you know what signage I need?

 

Our goal is to fully understand the challenges and needs you face, then we can begin to recommend solutions. Each project requires that we collect a certain amount of information before we know how to best assist you. Sometimes this requires an on-site visit – in many cases it’s possible to have clients provide us with specific information or documentation. We’ll tell you what we need to know and then we’ll use that information to assist you in getting the best results.

I already have designs done. Can I send you drawings to price?

Yes. If your drawings are still being developed we encourage you to involve us early in the process. We can often minimize the time and cost of developing a final solution. We welcome the opportunity to become another member of your team and we commonly work with designers and architects.

What about installation? Do you provide it?

Can you send me a catalog or price list?

We do not have catalogs and price lists since all of our work is custom. We do encourage you to visit our web site or stop by our facilities to review other projects.

How much should I expect to spend on signage?

Your sign costs will depends entirely upon your needs. Signage is a critical part of your business branding.  It displays your identity to the public so your signs need to be carefully designed to reinforce your image.
High quality signage will last for many years so there is no reason not invest the money to do it well.  Effective signage can produce a huge return on a small investment.  At Commercial Sign Crafters we’ve learned our clients are best served by long-term thinking.  A quality sign may cost more up front, but ultimately saves them money by lasting longer and it makes them money by raising the visibility of your brand.

What materials are your signs made of?

Various materials are used depending on what’s needed to make the best and most cost effective fabrication for your situation. Signs are made using aluminum, acrylic, wood, fiberglass, and even stone. Part of the customizing process is to determine the best use of materials for your project.

I need some ADA regulation signs, like simple EXIT signs. Can you help me?

Yes, we can help you with all of the ADA signs required for your building. If you have a list of the different types you need just give us a call. If you’re not sure what ADA requires, we can help with that.  We can review your site plan to make sure you are compliant with all ADA requirements. Most commercial spaces have minimal requirements for EXIT, EXIT ROUTE, Fire Evacuation maps and Maximum Occupancy signs. Sometimes additional signs may be required depending on the size and nature of your building.

I need some ADA signs to identify different rooms in my office. What are my options?

ADA signs have tactile or raised lettering as well as Braille. While there are definite specifications required for these types of signs, they can also be made to compliment or enhance your brand.  We can make signs for you that accommodate your specific building style and compliment your design or color scheme. We’ll make your signs attractive and ensure that they meet California ADA guidelines.

I have some signs that need repair. Can you help?

We have the capability to repair signs; however, it depends on the nature of the sign and the extent of the repairs required. If you can supply some photos, that will help guide us in evaluating what you need. An on-site visit is generally required to make a full evaluation.
